Visit to Kodaikanal – India 2013

10th July – Visit to Kodaikanal

Originally we were supposed to set off at 5am! we were however given a couple of hours extra sleep which was nice.

By this point I was starting to feel very unwell… My stomach and energy levels were very low and had been since the weekend, but knowing we were going high up into the hills I knew I would regret not going… just the chance of seeing monkey’s was not worth missing.

The drive was as usual an interesting one, though not as much traffic but some of the road high on the hill sides were a bit treacherous… I loved every minute of it 🙂

It was a great shame when we got as high as we were going that the clouds were well and truly out, we did see some amazing views but I could imagine just how much better it could have been if we could have seen the view without the clouds.

As we started to make our way back that was the point where I gave in to how ill I was feeling, needless to say I wasn’t much company and once we were back at TTS I did not surface again until the afternoon the next day. – Visit to Kodaikanal
