9th July – Afternoon Visit
After visiting the Rural Institute in the morning, the Gandhi Museum in the afternoon was a complete contrast.
It was full of pictures, artefacts and information boards which gave a sightly different view from the one we may know. I seemed to become the official photographer of our time in India, I would still have come away with 3000 photographs even if I had not been!
Trying to take photographs was a nightmare, all the information boards were lit by strip lights right above them which just created a bright light on the boards. Some I took closer photos to try and get a copy of all the information… so if you are really interested in reading everything they said with a bit of time and patience you should be able to see everything we saw in the museum.
