First Journey out – India 2013

Midday – 29th June 2013

We went exploring at the wrong time of day… we were far too hot and I started to get rather red on the back of my neck!

It was a hair raising walk, we walked alongside a main road which can be quite dangerous… we took the risk and crossed the road a few times.

It was sensation overload with the noise of the insects & birds, traffic and people. Added to that as we passed a Temple loud music was blaring out of a couple of large speakers at the side of the road.

We encountered quite a few cows which were grazing at the road side, some were tied up while others roamed free which seemed a little unfair.

We never came across a cash point that we had gone out to find, but we came back with our memories full to busting of all sorts of sights, sounds and  smells.
